Nintendo of Japan has announced that the Wi-Fi Connection service for DS and Wii will be discontinued on May 20, 2014. The news shouldn’t be too surprising since both Wii U and 3DS have moved on to the Nintendo Network. The company will be ending online services for various games such as “Mario Kart Wii”, “Mario Kart DS”, “Super Smash Bros. Brawl”, “Animal Crossing: Wild World”, “Pokemon Black/White”, “Tetris DS”, and “Star Fox Command”.  Here is the full list of games that Nintendo will be discontinuing online services for.  We’ll update this article as soon as we hear a statement from Nintendo of America.
